GOURMET CIGAR EL CASTILLO Toro is a great cigar at a ridiculous low price. It was originally hand made to be the elite El Castillo gourmet cigar. The only problem was that once production started, we realized that we did not have enough of the tobacco required to keep the blend. Blending a cigar is a complicated process and requires different types of tobacco. If you don't have the exact tobacco to blend, the cigar will not taste the same. In this case the production was suspended and the cigars already made were put away in the aging room. That was about three years ago. We recently decided to pack them up in bundles and sell them at these ridiculously low prices. El Castillo Gourmet Toro is hand made with pure long-filler Cuban-seed Habano. The wrapper is dark and oily, almost Maduro. From head to foot these premium cigars will provide you a uniquely earthy taste that is full of spices, cream and nutmeg. It's a taste that you can only find in cigars that cost 5 times as much. El Castillo Toro is 6 inches long with a ring gauge of 52. 25 cigars are hand packed in a bundle. Smooth start and maintains it\'s smoothness and creaminess through to finish. Starts off medium and builds nicely to full. I am pretty impressed with these as they are of obvious high quality. Very pleased with the price. Slight burn issues, but I find this often happens ROTT and after hydrating for awhile in the humidor this problem usually disappears. Good, but now, after only a little more than a week of humi time, they are so nice I had to write this as a thank you to CC and the makers of El Castillo. This cigar is very well constructed with a beautiful wrapper. It lights easily and burned evenly. The flavor is on the high side of medium, with a solid earthy taste, gently spicy with cedar undertones. The volume and density of smoke was wonderful. And I actually got comments on the nice aroma from two neighbors! Thanks CC! This is a new favorite and a great value.
