Cutting does not pop out like it mentions but is easily removed by retracting the blade, pushing it back a out and brushing it out with a finger. Built super solid. It has a solid body with enough weight to not be too heavy but heavy enough to where it sets in the hand nicely. The construction of the cutter is well done and solid. The pen mechanism is slick and very handy. the last punch I had was a two piece and was a pain trying to pull the punch apart to open it wile having a cigar in hand. The way this cutter is you just click for the blade to come out and push the side button to retract. The only small issue I have seen is the pen will be a little rough clicking out every once in a while, but this is VERY small and barley noticeable. And does not impact the function of the cutter at all. The blade is sharp, and being made of stainless steel I doubt this cutter will go dull anytime soon. And punches the cap easy and effortlessly. And with a lifetime guarantee you can't go wrong. All in all I am very pleased, and will be putting some heavy use into this cutter.
