Miami Edition Cigars Medina 1959 Churchill are special. They are hand made at the Cuban Crafters Miami cigar factory by one of the world's most talented Cuban cigar roller. Medina 1959 Miami Churchill cigars have that special and elegant taste that only pre-1959 Cuban cigars had. That's because they are made under the watchful eye of Manuel Medina, a legend in the history of Cuban cigars. From the dry Cuban-seed tobacco bunching to the precise blending of different tobacco leaves, this cigar yells quality and elegance. While it's beautiful to look it, it's even better to smoke.

The medium bodied smoke is filled with delightful tastes of toasted nuts, mild spices and smooth waves of butterscotch with sweet malt cream that coats your mouth and keeps you hoping it never ends. They can only be compared to the pre-Castro Cuban cigars that magically grabbed your attention at the start and kept you satisfied until the very end. The Cuban-seed Habano long-filler and binder are aged for 6 years and the super-premium Cuban-seed wrapper is aged for at least 5 years. This combination of tobacco was blended by Manuel Medina to match the exact taste that he remembers when he first started rolling cigars in Cuba. Each Miami Churchill cigar is 7 inches long with a large ring gauge of 50. Every single cigar has its own register number. 25 cigars are hand-packed in a cedar box that is also made by hand in Miami.

1959 was a year of luxurious self-indulgence, romance and when Fidel Castro changed the course of history in Cuba.Cigar Maker Manuel Medina It was also when Medina started rolling cigars. Subject :: Perfect

This cigar was totally different in the non cuban cigars world. Since I'm writing from the heart of the Arabian gulf i think i was the first one to smoke this cigar in my country, my region but the whole middle east and that should be recorded at the cc records. This cigar is a real phenomenon. The shape is perfect the construction is perfect and the every thing is perfect. This cigar was a bit easy draw for me. The burn was perfect like burned with laser. It starts with very light taste of cuban tobacco and hints of sweetness and spices. And it goes very fine after to inches to medium flavor and taste. The aroma is very nice like cuban hoyo de monterey. I could nub this cigar with perfect match with my favourite jack daniels. The smoke was rich and white. The ash was very white and could be on till the 2.5 inches. don kiki thank you very much for this cigar and i wish i was the dealer of this cigar in the whole middle east. abu dhabi aficionado, uae, nov 17 08

Subject :: WOW

This is perhaps the best cigar I have ever smoked. I visited the factory last month and was treated to one by an amazing staff. After smoking it I bought as many as my Humidor in Connecticut can hold. Smoking one of these is truly an event to look forward to and savor. The perfect cigar. Thank you Cuban Crafters!

Subject :: Its a "nubber"

Smooth from start to finish. Long ash and even burn. One of CC's very best!

Subject :: Very Rewarding

I decided to order a sampler pack of the Medina Churchill\\\'s from Cuban Crafters. I let them sit in my humidor for a little over a month before I was able to set aside some time to sit and enjoy one. I have to say this is a very rewarding smoke, I enjoyed this vitola right down to the nub.

STARS OF THE SHOW

Cuban Crafters Medina 1959 Miami Edition:
[United States: available in 5 sizes]

Unlike most of the Cuban Crafters line, the Medina 1959 Miami Edition is made in Miami by a team of 10 rollers, so availability is limited. This blend has won strong notices and it’s easy to understand why.

It is medium in body, with a spicy aroma and a rich, caramelized taste at the start. Very smooth, it burns evenly and while measured and precise, is also relaxed and satisfying.

A note of spice comes in on the finish at halfway and these two elements continues through in a balanced way to the finish. It’s not overpowering, but has lots of flavor and a modicum of subtlety, especially in the second half.

It’s easy to spot the Medina 1959 Miami Edition, as it has one of the largest bands on any cigar anywhere, including a second band with an individual registration number. All five sizes are presented in full-cedar boxes of 25, with retail pricing at $8.00-$9.60 each before local taxes.

Overall grade: A-: Excellent.

Subject :: Special Cigar for Special Occassions

I still cannot get over how wonderful my first Madina 1959 Miami Churchill was... I lit it and shouted \"Oh My God! What a Cigar!\" After enjoying the sampler pack, I promised myself I\'d order a full box of these... The time came to collect. I even bought a seperate humidor just for them. That\'s how special these babies are to me. the humidor with the cigars inside got alot of compliments from friends and family. I will enjoy these awesome cigars on special occassions and celebrations... I wouldn\'t have it any other way.

Subject :: Fantastic!

I got a sampler of 15 different cigars from CC. This was the best one. Absolutely perfect! Great burn and draw, great taste. I\'m going to have to get some more of these!

Subject :: Wonderful & free...

Received one of these cigars in the box with a humidor and lighter I ordered. Not being familiar with the brand I wasn\'t expecting much and boy was I surprised! This is a wonderful stick with great flavors and a quality construction. Draw is great, white ash, even burn, all in all a great surprise. Thank You for the opportunity to try and I will buy in the future. I may even stop by when I am in Miami. Bill in NC
